You know the drill guys, I'm going to take you through the things that I have loved in the month of October. So let's get into it.
This month I have been loving the double wear lip liner in 04 Rose. It is the quintessential Autumnal shade as it is subtle but gives a lot of definition to the lip. I will sometimes layer it under my MAC Pillowtalk but I also love this taking centre stage.
I rarely change up my perfume and have been wearing English Laundry for quite some time now. However when I was gifted with Vera Wang's Princess for my birthday this month, I suddenly became nostalgic, as this was my signature scent when I was a teenager. It has top notes of waterlily and heart notes of chiffon vanilla but for me it has top notes of school and heart notes of misbehaviour.
Another present I got this month that hasn't left me since I got it is the Zoe Lariat in gold from Stella and Dot. I fell in love with this necklace at my Stella and Dot Trunk Show and it did not disappoint. I love it's versatility and how different it is to any other jewellery I have.
I had pre-ordered Face Paint by Lisa Eldridge as soon as she announced it, and not only is it a visual feast but it is also fascinating. It makes an interesting parallel between the use of make-up and the freedom that women had during that time in history. This book is part history, part anthropology and all fabulous.
So those are my top picks for October.
