It is my birthday today (27 years old if you must know) and I decided to buy myself a few little treats. I have many, many lipsticks but of course I could not resist buying a few more shades to add to my collection.
I hit up the Estee Lauder website to get the Pure Colour Envy matte lipstick in Kendall's shade as this is an online exclusive. I am really happy I went for this because I have a lot of blue/reds in my lipstick collection but this is the first orange/red, the packaging is Devine and closes with a satisfying magnetised click. The lip liner was a bit of a whim because any purchase over a certain amount resulted in a "free" gift and I am a sucker. However I am really happy with the shade and think it will look great alone or under any nude shade.
The gift contained a mini Advanced Night Repair, revitalizing Supreme cream and a lipgloss all contained in a lovely opening ceremony case. Should I be offended that they sent anti-aging products or should I just embrace it?
The next set of products I bought were from M.A.C. I got flowerscope (a beautiful pink) and pillow talk (a nude shade that I am not dying about, but it could grow on me), in creamsheen. Prolong wear eye liner in mountain air, which I am dying to try. I also got harmony in a blusher for contouring as I am getting bored of my Smashbox contouring palette, plus it is supposedly a good shade for pale skin. Harmony is showing a little orange but in real life it is brown in tone.
Finally, so you all can celebrate my birthday with me I have decided to do a little giveaway. Ruby Woo lip liner (this competition is only open to the UK and Ireland, sorry). Simply follow me on twitter, there are also additional ways to enter so please spread the love.
